EBC Club Mountain Bike Trip to Bentonville, AR, where your next big cycling adventure awaits for you right off the downtown square. Considered a premier destination for mountain bikers worldwide, you will find a network of more than 140 miles of trails in the area, including 40 plus miles of hard surface and over 100 miles of single-track in or connected to the city. In Bentonville, AR, there's a trail for every rider, from riders enjoying nature to the most adventurous of riders wanting to test their skills. We will be staying at the Hilton Garden in Bentonville. This is a bike friendly hotel with bike storage (Lockers and Garage), a bike wash, trail maps etc. Please try to stay at the Club Hotel as we will have breakfast planning meetings to lay out the plan for the day and this will also make possible carpooling to remote starts easier. Intermediate mountain bike skills required. If you have ridden the intermediate rides at Palos, Kettle or Brown County you should be ok. All rides will start at The Hilton Garden which is right on the trail so most days we can ride right from the hotel but we will carpool and Caravan to remote Trail heads as needed. The Hilton Garden is situated on the Razorback Greenway which connects several single-track areas. Nowhere else can you find an extensive network of nearly 70 miles of trails running throughout a city, seamlessly connected to several hundred miles award-winning single track and paved systems across the bluffs and hollers of Northwest Arkansas. There is too much to ride of course but we plan to start with Slaughter Pen and make our way out to Blowing Springs, The Back 40 over to Little Sugar and then Coler during the 4 days. Hobbs State Park will be a day trip. Pussanee and I will be riding the Easy (Green) and Intermediate (Blue) sections of each trail only and will not be riding advanced sections. We have never been here so we will exploring and I will not know the trails like I do at Palos, so come and explore with us and expect to get lost a bit. Riders may choose to ride with us or explore on their own. Please kindly register as it is an out of state event. Eye protection required and body armor recommended.
