Forecast is for a cool but sunny day with little wind, so let‘s do this Blue Skies! thing one more time. You never know when it might be the last of the season...
Join me for a road ride from Lombard to St. Charles, which will feature a newly-resurfaced Crescent Boulevard for your sprinting pleasure. Our midpoint rest stop will be at Panera in St. Charles. I expect to maintain the upper end of the posted rolling speed, with optional sprints. I expect to do the Munger Loop (Powis->Stearns->Munger->Smith), so anticipate total mileage closer to 50 miles. Others are always free to bypass or shorten the loop.
We will face some hills, rollers, and open road with narrow shoulders, so a road bike and some road riding experience is highly recommended. Ample regroup opportunities. No one will be dropped.
Please don‘t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
